1. You need to report the loss to the local police station as soon as possible and get the certificate of reporting a lost passport.
2. Go to the Exit and Entry Administration Department of Weihai Municipal Public Security Bureau with the certificate of reporting a lost passport. Apply for a new passport from your country’s embassy or consulate by using the certificate issued by the Exit & Entry Administration Bureau.
3. After receiving a new passport, students need to register it at the police station and visit the SDUW Online Application System (http://apply.wh.sdu.edu.cn) to apply for a change of visa/residence permit as soon as possible.
After your application is approved by your school and the university, the Office of International Student Affairs (Room 513, Hanguang Building) will issue the Visa/ Stay Permit/ Residence Permit Application Form and University Application Letter to the students. Then you need to go to the Exit and Entry Administration Department of Weihai Municipal Public Security Bureau together with relevant documents to officially submit your application.
