After you are formally registered as a student of Shandong University, Weihai with your tuition fees fully paid, you should apply for a residence permit as soon as possible.
To apply for a residence permit, you should firstly visit the SDUW Online Application System (http://apply.wh.sdu.edu.cn)to submit the following documents to the university:
a. Scanned copy of Admission Notice
b. Scanned copy of the Confirmation Form for Study in China JW201 or JW202
c. Scanned copy of the passport’s personal information page, the visa page and the last entry seal page
d. Scanned copy of tuition fee receipt and insurance certificate (not applicable for CSC Scholarship students)
e. Scanned copy of Registration Voucher of Residence for Visitors from Overseas (If you live off campus, please submit the Registration Voucher of Residence for Visitors from Overseas form from the local police station.)
f. One passport size photo with white background
After your documents are reviewed by your school and the university, the Office of International Student Affairs (Room 513, Hanguang Building) will issue the Visa/ Stay Permit/ Residence Permit Application Form and University Application Letter. Then, you need to go to the Exit and Entry Administration Department of Weihai Municipal Public Security Bureau together with relevant documents to officially apply for a residence permit.
